Food Day- no strings attached when we're done selling and will bring in at least $250-$300
How it would work: 1. Prom committee members bring/donate things to sell which = no cost 2. Since we have 11th and 12th grade lunch to cover, everything brought should be brought in 2 or split up 3. Whoever has lunch first sells and the second group will take over when it's their lunch time.
I agree with food. Lets get the menu for April after break, see which day has food the LD hates and sell food on that day. Also do we want to do a trial run in March?
Play by Play is already an event currently in the planning stages. We have decided to make it a Video Game Tournament and a Karaoke night. It will be held on March 14. The entrance fee for the Video Game tournament will be $2 to $3 and we will sell food at the event. The Karaoke would be about $1 per song. (More details to come.)
What we already have: 3 PS2s 1 Wii 1 Xbox
Games include DDR, Halo 3, Mario Party 8, Guitar Hero.
Karaoke will be taken care of Alyssa and I. I have a sound system, two wired mics, and one wireless mic for the host (Alyssa).
What we need: More games, A FACULTY MEMBER, teachers to sign up to play against students in DDR, Guitar Hero, and Halo 3, FOOOOOOOOD!!!! lots of it.
The Juniors are heading this on, and you should see poster up very soon. Seniors, we need some feedback on this. What do you think?
I'm glad the game night idea is in progress. I like it and the most important thing now, since you guys seem to have it orginized, is promotion and teachers talking smack. I can bring food because I don't have games but keep me posted so I know what to bring.
Food Day should be held on the week before break. Earthwatch is doing Pasta Day on Mar. 6th.
for the video game tournament i dont think its a good idea to have it on a friday because people wouldnt want to stay after school on a fiday they might want to just leave school and enjoy the weekend

We should do a bake sale where we actually make everything and accept donations so it is all profit.
